Frame Build

The frame is more or less a standard Prusa frame.

However, we have two modifications from that design:

  1. We are building slightly wider than normal, in order to fit the heated bed design in: The horizontal distance between the vertices across the X-axis should be 250 mm.
  2. The front threaded rods have a slightly different design and order of parts: nut — washer — y bracket — washer — washer — bearing guide —
    washer — nut.
    (Note from MIkeTheBee: The pictures and instructions above show 2 washers between the bracket and the bearing guide, experience has shown that in most cases only 1 is required. The choice is yours. Secondly, a further revision is planned to replace the printed motor drive gear with a metal one. These will be part of the Phase 2 part work kit.)
