IRC/Chat
A significant amount of the day-to-day organisation of the build group happens on IRC:
#tvrrug on Freenode (or via the web). The channel is logged by baudot, our resident sabre-toothed kitten.
The IRC channel covers things like low-level progress reports, coordination between the people printing parts, fixing machines, and general discussion of 3D printing. We hold regular meet-ups in IRC on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, from 20:00 onwards. This is when more people are likely to be around in the IRC channel, but there's usually a core of regulars around most days between 9 am and midnight. If you don't want to hang around on IRC, then the important things (like decisions about parts for the build group, and schedules for distribution of equipment) are covered on the mailing list, or handled direct over email by Malcolm.
