Thames Valley RepRap User Group

Introduction

Welcome to the Thames Valley RepRap User Group. We are a group of people who live in the Thames Valley. We aim to encourage ultra low cost 3d printing (a.k.a. 3d printing) in all its forms, but we are particularly interested in RepRap printers and their derivatives.

One of our main activities is, getting groups of people to come together, to build RepRap Prusa Mendels. However, we also aim to help and support other builds of RepRaps.

We are fortunate also in having the skills of an electronics expert and several people with experience of RepRap-style 3D printers, which means that some of the design is improved over a standard Prusa. The initial build covered 20 people and more machines, with the parts being printed by those within the group that already had RepRaps. Round 2 completed early in 2013 bringing the total build ot TVRR varients to nearly 50 machines. Round 3 build finished in 2014. Round 4 is a Mendel90 based design started in 2015 and expected to be available to members in early 2016.
